Brett Gluck, DMD
With a degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, Dr. Gluck began his career working as a biomedical engineer at the Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University in New York City. He enjoyed engineering but decided to search for a career that involved more interaction with people. With the positive influence of his father, who was a dentist, Dr. Gluck decided to change careers and attend dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After four years of study, Dr. Gluck received a doctoral degree in general dentistry.
Dr. Gluck quickly decided to specialize in orthodontics while in dental school since orthodontics has an engineering component to it. He continued his postgraduate training in orthodontics at the University of Louisville, earning a master’s degree in orthodontics concurrently. By setting himself apart from others in his class, Dr. Gluck was awarded a grant from the Southern Association of Orthodontics for his research in 3D scanning and dental modeling technology. Dr. Gluck has specialized in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in North Atlanta since 1997.
Dr. Gluck is currently an active member in a number of associations, including the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society, Hinman Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics and the Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Gluck resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, and is married to Dr. Ginger Kirkland, a periodontist in Alpharetta. He spends his free time enjoying life with his wife and two sons, Carter and Kyle.
